Overview

The Reading Support program is a supplemental 3-5 instructional program designed to improve students’ reading skills and academic performance.

The Reading Support teacher work closely with other classroom teachers to support instruction for each student. Instruction is provided in both the regular education classroom and in small groups outside of the classroom.

The Reading Support teacher also work closely with parents of their students to provide information regarding student needs and progress, strategies to support student learning, and supplemental materials for use in the home.
